Anitra paints almost exclusively in oil. Her favorite subjects are objects from nature, especially fruits and vegetables.
"People are like fruits and veggies---it is what is on the inside that counts!"
Anitra paints to invite to the viewer to see beyond the surface of things; to discover, to look closely, and to respond. She wants you to not only enjoy the color, but to experience it’s power and feeling.
Anitra also creates murals, commission work and pomegranate art.
