Explore Frida's inner life, her physical and emotional wounds, and how these were expressed in symbols and metaphors drawn from Aztec myths of creation, Far Eastern and Classical Greek mythology, and popular Catholic beliefs. Participants will also explore Lucia Capacchione’s method of creating art using the non-dominant hand. Frida herself will host this workshop and share with you the intimate details of the last ten years of her life during which she kept her journal. Frida will inspire you to create your own expressive journal pages using twigs, inks and other painting implements on 100% cotton papers. This is a Redlefsen "Boutique Workshop" ~ participants are limited to 7- 12 per session. All supplies are included and Frida will prepare one of her favorite antojitos ("little whims" or "little cravings") for you! $45 per person.
