intro > special events >> First Night Akron 2009First Night Akron 2009Frida’s Fiestas at First Night Akron! What a great New Year's evening it was! We packed 'um in at the Akron Art Museum! Over 400 participants came in from the frosty weather into the warmth of Frida Kahlo's world! Frida showed everyone how to paint colorful, authentic, Pre-Columbian Mexican designs and Mr. R. helped everyone make colorful, Frida-like bracelets! A great time was had by all!
